Cutting Edge was formed in 2007 in the Dallas metroplex. Over the next decade, Cutting Edge brought a fresh alternative to physical therapy and was awarded Best Physical Therapists in Dallas award. In 2018, Gary sold his stake in the business to the group of owners, and they are still running the practice in the metroplex today.
Dakota Bodies, LLC started in 1997 with just six employees in Watertown, South Dakota where they designed and manufactured utility and service truck bodies. Since then, it grew to employ over 400 employees and to be the nation’s top choice in the utility and service industries. In November 2020, Dakota Bodies, LLC sold to ATW, a Bain Capital company.
Imaging Associates of Abilene was acquired in 2007. As one of the portfolio companies, Imaging Associates of Abilene experienced strong growth and was recognized as the premier imaging center in the community. The business was sold to Gateway Diagnostic Imaging in 2021 where it still operates today.
Dakota Holdings invested in Lake Stop in the 2010's, and over the years, Lake Stop has grown to service the many needs of Watertown, South Dakotas' residents and Lake Kampeska lake goers. Dakota Holdings decided to divest Lake Stop to a strategic buyer in 2023, so the operating partners running the business can retire and enjoy time with friends and family.
Metrix started in 2005 in Watertown, South Dakota. Over the following 2 decades, Metrix became the leading supplier of powder coating services in Eastern South Dakota. In 2021, Metrix sold to Line-x and is operating as a franchisee.
Prestige Imaging was founded in 2002. Over the years, Prestige Imaging saw immense growth and acquired Imaging Associates of Abilene in 2007. In 2021, Prestige Imaging-Cleburne was sold to Texas Health Resources and operates under that entity today.
Gary joined the ownership at Savoya in 1997 when the company was first getting started. He was able to help grow the technology company that pairs best-in-class drivers with travelers who need more than just a car and a driver over the course of almost two decades. Gary sold his stake in the company in 2015, but the company is still in operation today.
Superior Homes has over 45 years of build experience and has helped thousands of families make their dream house a reality. Gary joined the ownership of the businesses in 2003 where guided the company through rocky times and ensured the employees always had a job at Superior Homes even when things were not always going their way. Gary sold his ownership stake in 2009 when the company sold to Larson Manufacturing Company.
un-du started in 1996 with Gary being one of the first investors. While Gary was involved with un-du, un-dus’ products won numerous awards, had 80 patents, and were featured in the media from television shows to nationally recognized news outlets. Gary is no longer involved with un-du, but their products are still selling on Amazon today.
